Real talk, what is this THCA stuff?

Why? Actually, because THCA exists in the raw cannabis plant and is the precursor to THC itself.
What does that even mean? THC is not THC without THCA. Before cannabis plants are harvested, THCA is what exists in the trichomes or the extensions of the plant that are trimmed for cultivation. Once heat is applied via sunlight, heat lamps, burning your flower, or any other method of high temperature application, THCA is converted into THC through decarboxylation. This is a fancy term for a chemical reaction where THCA loses a carboxyl ring and transforms into THC.

THCA vs Delta 8
We’ve touched base on THCA and how it compares to THC (in reality how it transforms into THC), but what about Delta-8? Delta-8 has been given the descriptor “diet weed” insinuating that it is much less potent than THC and even Delta-9. Therefore, we recommend Delta-8 for those looking for subtle effects. THCA can be an intense experience for those with a lower tolerance. Always pay attention to dosage and make sure you know what your goal is when partaking. Both Delta-8 and THCA can induce psycho-active effects, but the level of strength is the most prevalent variable between the two.
CBD vs THCA
CBD is the ultimate option for those who are looking for benefits such as pain relief, stress relief, anti-inflammatory or sleep aid without the psycho-active effects. THCA also provides these same benefits and more such as anti-nausea, and further studies have even shown it offers neuro-protective attributes. If you’re looking to achieve all the benefits accompanied by the psycho-active high then THCA may be right for you. If you’re just looking for therapeutic advantage without feeling high, CBD is your draft pick.
What ways can THCA be consumed?
Due to THCA requiring the process of decarboxylation in order to unlock its psycho-activity, it needs to be smoked, vaped, or baked at high temperatures. CBD and Delta-8 have different stipulations when it comes to the application of heat, and thus offer more alternative options for consumption.
CBD can be applied as a topical or consumed as an oil, edible, or even in a smokeable form. Delta-8 is best consumed as an edible, tincture, or in a vape.
On the other hand, psycho-active THCA must be smoked, vaped, or baked with precise temperatures and methods. It’s also worth noting that THCA can be consumed in other raw forms for therapeutic benefits, but will not be psycho-active in this state without the necessary heat.

Literally the same as dispensary THC
I have a relatively low tolerance, so I started very cautiously with one or two puffs of the Moonwlkr THCA Sativa strain pre-rolls. Holy cow! It was exactly what I would expect from any THC flower you’d get at a dispensary. No difference in effects at all! It was great. I felt wonderful and the high was smooth and not overwhelming AND i was still able to be productive. What a great alternative to having my ear talked off by a bud tender.

So relaxing!
These give me a nice, controlled high. I have a pretty high tolerance (daily smoker) and these got me way higher than the stuff im used to. The packaging is convenient if I want to take these on the go, and they’re rolled tightly so I had no problem putting it out and saving half for later. Huge fan of these!

Who needs the med store?
I smoked this with my girlfriend who has her med card and smokes a lot of “real weed” (even though med store weed has is high THCA % too most people just don’t realize it) and she couldn’t tell the difference. I couldn’t either — it hits great, burns well, tastes good. When you can get this delivered to your door every month, why go through the hassle and added cost of the med store???

Burns slow, hits hard
I bought the new THCA pre-rolls for game night and tried them out with my friends. We were all pleasantly surprised by both the taste and the potency. Cereal Milk was my favorite.
